There are reasons why the gun business is booming during economic uncertainty.  Recent new reports that gun sales have gone up by 30% on average and why is this?  My believe is that people assume that during this tough economic climate there will be more crimes committed so they go out and buy guns to protect their love ones from harms way.  The other factor may be caused by the recent proposed gun control by our government, so people are buying guns in case if it becomes impossible to get.  I’ve also heard that the recent gun control has to do with NWO (new world order) and doomsday, they are saying this has to do with gov’t wanting eradicate the world population so this would explain the recent boost in gun sales.  I am not sure if any of this is correct but it is what I’ve assume or heard.

In this Christmas season, learn to be generous of yourself.  Christmas is about giving but you should start to be nice on yourself.  Indulge and treat yourself with the things you want to have or experience the whole year round.  Pamper yourself by going to the derma clinic, massage parlor and hair salon.  Don’t forget your home, too. Purchase some fireplace accessories to make the fireplace pretty.  After all, you have been neglecting the place in one whole year. There are fireplace accessories that can even lighten up the side of the fire place.

When I first started working for the insurance company, they had me in the flood insurance department. Everyday I would get calls from people asking about our flood insurance rates and everyday I would have to lie to people, knowing that the rates at the company down the street (where I purchased my flood insurance) were much cheaper and gave me more coverage than the rates of my current employer. It was an awful job, so I requested to be moved to a different department, like life insurance. I didn’t have life insurance, so I wouldn’t know if I was lying or not.

I was invited to a friends home recently, and found out something about her that I didn’t know. She is quite the collector of carriage clocks! She laughed, but maybe she should consider it!

I am a clean freak and I do not care to change my ways. Minnesota tourism claims to have 10,000 lakes.  It is probably more than that with lakes dotting the entire area around Brainerd and the communities in this area.  If you visit any of the towns from Pine River, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Nisswa, Crosby, Deerwood, Lake Shore, Merrifield, Pillager, Baxter or Brainerd you will find clear water, great fishing, super people and activities to keep you busy for days on end.  You can enjoy the water activities or you can check out the local history.  Every community has a story to tell which will certainly keep you enthralled.Maybe you want to go to the races.  You can do that too in Brainerd.  There is the Brainerd International Raceway that will give you a good show for the evening.  Before you go to the track you may want to take a ride on the Mississippi Belle paddle-wheel boat and enjoy the sights that will have your camera clicking like mad.Fishing in this area just can’t be compared to fishing any place else.  Here the lakes are clear, the fish are biting and the peace and serenity are great for the soul.  There are so many lakes that you can change every day if you want to and still need to come back for years to come to see the majority of them.

I have had an ongoing problem with headaches since I was a teenager, and while they weren’t considered migraines, they were still bothersome. I had tried different medications to treat them, but the pain would return, and the diagnostic scans were inconclusive. The doctors simply couldn’t figure out why I kept getting headaches. I called a Bellevue Chiropractor after some prompting from a friend, and at my first appointment I got the answers that I needed. The doctor was able to diagnose the problem and start treatment right away. Now my headaches are few and far between, and I know what to do if they occur.

Carrying around a small dog seems to be a theme in comedy these days. Used as an image to route the imagination toward a spoiled human and spoiled pet. I know full well that when I buy a pet stroller for my medium size Welsh Corgi that I’m provoking the image of an obsessed dog. There are just some times when I’ll need my dog to not be running around. To get from point A to point B, I’ll be happy to ferry him about in a stroller until we reach our destination. It will him a bit safer on a crowded street and sure does take away the burden of having to chase him down or yank his leash hard to keep him from my fellow pedestrians. The routine walk to the park without my Corgi attempting to drag my arm off attempting to chase the poodle walking down the street will be a blessing. Sometimes I worry for his safety and though I know I won’t be using is at much as I would a stroller for a babe or toddler, but the pet stroller will make my life that much more convenient.

My life is so busy, I go to work full time during the day and take classes at night. There are some weekend seminars I need to attend to get my credits and in addition to all of that I try to make room for my friends and family. There is barely time to get my errands done let alone shop for clothing. I am so happy that the internet allows me to shop no matter what time it is. Stores are usually closed by the time I am free to shop so online shopping has allowed me to find the great brands like Pelle Pelle without having to be pressured to get to the shops during their business hours. I find what I want and need and can get it at midnight!

Then there is a band of light (an d heavy) industry. Convention Comes to an End

Today, although we still had a great time, there was a little bit of melancholy in the air as we all began to realize that Convention was coming to an end. We hope the Demonstrators who’ve been able to attend this year are jazzed to share with you all the exciting information and new skills they’ve gleaned here.

We enjoyed camaraderie, good meals, and just plain fun. It was great to finish the day and our 2009 Design Your Destiny Convention with a celebration of coming events. Please plan to join us next year, and come to a regional event as well. We love meeting you in person, and putting faces with the voices we hear day by day. You are simply the best!
