Employees evaluation time has always been a stressful time for the employee. In general, employees feel that there is so much riding on their annual evaluation that it can be a make or break time for their career at their current employer. Some companies in the injection molding industry are using injection molding training to help ease the stress level for employees during evaluation time. The way they do this is by giving employees continuous training throughout the year, both in the technical aspects of their job and also in other areas. This has the effect of letting the employee know what to expect at evaluation time, what goals need to be met, what safety standards must be followed, and what standards there are for advancement and pay raises.
By using injection molding training in this way, employers are finding that employees, while not necessarily looking forward to evaluations, are at least looking at it with an open mind, and more importantly, a prepared attitude.
