Metal bending can be seen in more than just industrial uses. Many artists are using the medium to create amazing works of art, Eyebenches is one such piece. The pair of functional sculptures by Louise Bourgeois was recently placed in Lafayette Square, a National Historic District in New Orleans. The metal benches which are shaped like eyes are the third sculptures installed as part of the "Sculpture for New Orleans" project. The Project is an effort to bring world-class public art to the streets of the Crescent City.
