A friend is a true friend whenever he or she is still there during stormy days.  When one of your friends gets sick, don’t forget to pay him or her a visit.  Your mere presence can boost the faster recovery of your friends’ health.  This is my advice and you should really do it if you intend to keep friends for life.  It also won’t be any bad if you bring along something like gifts.The great thing about Get well gift baskets is that you can put in a personal touch to the gift.  You may send a basket filled with the person’s favorite things.  If this is your choice, you can either go on a theme or go on a combination.  If you decide on the former, you can go on a ‘book’ theme by putting in the basket a collection of inspirational or motivational literature, or books of the person’s favorite author.  Or, you can go on a ‘records’ them by giving a collection of cds of calming and inspirational songs, which he or she can listen to on the discman while recuperating.  This is another way to go about the theme-inspired: if you know the person is a soccer fanatic, you may put together just about any kind of stuff—a shirt, a tie, a hanky, a mug, a frame, etc.—with soccer ball prints on them.
