In the previous years, there seemed to be a protocol that brides should really wear fashionable and formal shoes even if it shoes could be hardly seen because of the long wedding dress. Well, in recent years, that kind of protocol is already out of the loop. There is no practicality anymore with that old unwritten protocol.  And I think it’s only for the better because, frankly, wedding shoes cannot be seen during wedding ceremonies. The only possible time that the bridal shoes can be seen is during the time that the groom gets the garter. For this reason, it is much convenient to make use of wedding sandals instead of shoes. I guess it’s all for the best.
