Great Site

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

I was just recently contemplating what I was going to get for my next tattoo and I was just stumped as to what I should get. I had a great place that I wanted something done but I had changed my mind a couple of times over the course of a month. I finally found a great site that listed a variety of tattoo designs and I was able to peruse the different designs, where they looked best on different body parts and of course then how they would look best on me. I was grateful for this site and I have not changed my mind about my current design.

Should I get an angel tattoo?

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

I am trying to decide what would be a good tattoo for me. I would like to get one, but it is hard to choose between all the different options. I don’t want to get anything that would embarrass me in the future, so I am putting a lot of thought into it before I make my final decision. Right now I am leaning toward choosing one of the angel tattoos that I have seen. I don’t think that would embarrass me in the future. I think I want to get one of the more religious ones rather than one that is just very cutesy.

Marty Kudelka - Justin’s Choreographer

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

As far as choreographers are concerned they’re only as big as the stars they’ve choreographed. And if the stars they choreograph have amazing dance moves, the choregrapher’s star will rise as well.

Well one of Justin Timberlake’s choroegraphers’s star is certainly rising. Marty Kudelka has been a choreographer for Justin Timberlake including his ‘My Love’ music video and is held in high regard by many dancers around the world.

In fact Marty worked as a dance teacher for a long time before he got his break. Although he still teaches dance classes every now and again, with all the choreographing he doesn’t have as much time these days. Expect to see more of his choreography in future.

A Street Dance Class In London Is So Easy To Find!

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

I’ve been to many places around the world and also within the UK. One of the things I love about London is that it’s so easy to find dance classes. In particular street dance classes are easy to find.

You’d probably expect this of a city like London where every culture is catered for and can learn just about any skill that you want. The London dance scene is certainly very vibrant and it’s not difficult to connect with other dancers either. Finding a street dance class in London is easy, just type it into Google and whoop, you get a gazillion results.

Even when you travel just a few cities away though, you have trouble just finding one good street dance class - and that’s if they’re any at all! I hope I never have to stay away from London for long.

Qualities of a Great Wedding Photographer

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

There are many qualities which set a great wedding photographer apart from someone who is simply going through the motions. When we were looking for a wedding photographer for our destination wedding, we could tell right away who took their craft to a whole new level. One quality of a great photographer is that they meet with you before the day of the actual wedding. A Coventry wedding photographer who is experienced knows that getting to know the couple first, will help to make the wedding day go more smoothly. Also, taking some pictures before the big day can really help everyone to feel more relaxed and can make the wedding pictures turn out incredibly.

Where Are The Best North London Gyms?

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

There are plenty of places to get in shape in London, literally hundreds in fact, but for me it has to be the one I came across only last week. It’s a wonderful complex, complete with purpose-built dance studios, free-weights, fitness classes, and plenty more besides. I joined on a weekly basis, and have to say, it’s been worth it already. They have so much on offer, sometimes you forget you are there to work, and get fit.Its amazing to me how something so great can cost not much at all.I found thgem simply enough, I just typed "North London gym" into Ask.com, and Voila!Excellent

Over the years, Yosemite National Park has become known as one of the best places in the world to go mountain climbing. You can find many great places to scale in the park, from sheer rock faces to spires and massive boulders. Perhaps the best known place to climb in Yosemite is Yosemite Valley. The massive El Capitan is one of the most popular places in the valley to climb. Another place that many climbers visit is Tuolumne Meadows in the high country. It is often less busy than Yosemite Valley and is cooler even in the hot summer months. Some of the most popular climbs there are around Murphy Creek and the Cottage Domes. One of the walls that is popular with the local crowd is called Dark Side Wall, and you can find that just south of the Merced River. Yosemite has a wide variety of different climbs all over the park. If you are an expert or an amateur, you don’t have to worry – you will be able to find something that perfectly suits your skill level. The park has face climbs, slab climbs, crack climbs and everything in between. Yosemite is a place that no climber should miss.

An underused musical instrument - the Oud

Monday, September 1st, 2008

As modern music has expanded to include all kinds of cultural influences, including instruments and rhythms, audiences have been treated to instruments formerly foreign to them. There are songs featuring the sitar, the bodhran, bagpipes and all manner of instruments, but too few have featured an oud. On Leonard Cohen s Field Commander Cohen album, there was a beautiful oud featured, like a somber and slightly unusual guitar. The oud has a beauty that is almost weeping in its lyricism that is not as forceful as an electrical guitar or as soft as an acoustic guitar. The oud has a wonderful soft quality that could make almost any ballad more powerful and give any song an extra flavor missing from so many other songs out there. It gives an exotic quality, without sounding forced or too strange. The oud is a beautiful, haunting instrument that should be featured more often.

Some of My Favorite Rap Artists.

Sunday, August 24th, 2008

I love music and I always have. I like most music genres however I think that my favorite has to be rap and r & b. I think that some of my favorite rap artists have been 2 Pac and Snoop Doggy Dog. There have been others over the years that I have really enjoyed as well. There are really too many to mention. My boyfriend right now really likes country music and although I don’t mind it we can get into a little tiff sometimes about what to listen to in the car because he really doesn’t like rap too much.

Tattoos For Women

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

When a man goes and gets a tattoo, it is considered something a bit more macho or tough, than when a woman gets a tattoo. Tattoos for women are generally thought to be nice or dainty and they are also usually quite small. A man will get his wife’s name on his arm or shoulder, but a woman rarely tattoos the name of her husband anywhere on her body. I think that is very interesting. (Yes, there are exceptions to this rule) When a man gets a tattoo, he usually has to brag to all of his friends on how he didn’t mind the pain, but the women I know who have gotten a tattoo rarely seem to even say it hurt.

Brilliant Website Design Dallas

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Website design has evolved since the beginning of the Internet. The first page uploaded on a web server was just a simple document with black text. This page was created by Tim Burners Lee, the founder of internet. Have you ever come across a site that is so irritating to look at that you wish you could blacklist it from the Internet? How many times have you come across sites that are so cluttered with information and graphics that you feel completely lost? Just 10 years ago with website design dallas, you could be brilliant web designer if you just knew how to set up a simple table, with a navigation bar and a space for content. Now, it’s a lot different. You now have to consider better colors, balance, shape, and pattern.

Amy Winehouse

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

Thank goodness for Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton that there’s Amy Winehouse. Those other celebrities have too many personal issues occupying them right now to have time for the paparazzi, what with Britney trying to stay sane, Lindsay becoming a lesbian, and Paris… what is Paris up to? Amy Winehouse is everyone’s new favorite train wreck and I’m glad, because she doesn’t seem to mind, either. Whether drinking, smoking, displaying drug paraphernalia in her home between an MTV Award and a ceramic kitten, or just looking way too skinny while making a terrible fashion statement, Amy Winehouse has the new monopoly on gossip fodder.

Mastering the Gong is Easy

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

An alternative way of learning the basics of music is through playing with Gongs. One reason would be that it’s very easy to learn and practice. For any ordinary individual who may or may have no background with music, a gong ensemble consisting of 5 to 9 suspended gongs are easy to master and appreciate. You can virtually hit any one of the gongs and still create a musical piece that is soothing to the ears. Gongs have only five tones (musically termed as pentatonic) in the scale–unlike the much more complex xylophone. This feature takes the risk of excess tones (either the too high or low pitched) in a piece. The key to playing with gongs is having a repetitive rhythm where you play a certain pattern of tones that gradually picks up its pace or slows down towards the ending point.

Choosing a zodiac tattoo

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

There are many people today who choose to get zodiac tattoos. A zodiac symbol is something that is governed by the position of the sun, the moon, and the stars at different times of the year. Depending on what sign is prominent in the sky at certain times of the year will dictate what sign is assigned to a person at the time of their birth. So when choosing their zodiac tattoo designs, it makes sense that people will choose their own zodiac sign about 95% of the time. The other percentage will usually choose the signs of their children or a sign of someone they want to honor or memorialize.

Dreams of movies

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Everyone has dreams it seems, and I’m no different. Well, mine might be a little more lofty or as some might say I have my head in the clouds, but still i’m not going to give up. I want to be the next big director in Hollywood known for making great blockbuster hits. I told you my dreams were a bit lofty. I’m going to be starting film school soon in the hopes that I can become the next Steven Spielberg, or George Lucas. I know I can do it though and i’m determined to see my dreams through to reality. If other people can accomplish their goals, then why can’t I?
