You Need A Driver’s License For PC Work

Friday, November 28th, 2008

In Europe, you actually need what is referred to as an ECDL Computer Training certification which stands for European Computer Driving License. It’s a new concept to me, as I think of “driving” a computer as an amusing description of what I would refer to as “operating” a PC.

These certification programs are wonderful for those who wish to expand their skills to work within the PC world with efficiency & aplomb. One can do much to prepare themselves, though by studying before hand & learning as much as possible on one’s own. This “agency education” concept is very cool, as well.

Prepaid Debit Cards

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

What are Prepaid Debit Cards and how can you use them. A prepaid debit card as the name suggests requires a pre paid balance. In other words you need to have money in your account before you can use it. These types of cards have the advantages and disadvantages, suffice is to say that you can use them just like a credit card the only difference being that you are not being extended any credit. In today’s world where plastic is becoming ever so popular having such a card allows for certain conveniences and this more than anything else is their greatest attraction.

Bad credit lenders can help you get into a home.

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Having bad credit makes it difficult to get anything done. With the economy the way it is, with banks failing everywhere, it will only get worse. There are some lenders who still call themselves “bad credit lenders.” These lenders will loan you money no matter what your credit is, usually at a much higher interest rate than prime. However, if you are in a position to purchase a home (and boy is this a buyers market), and you can afford the payments with the higher interest rate, then you should probably go for it. After all, a home is an investment, and after a short time it will begin to positively affect your credit if you make the payments on time.

I am really worried about identity theft lately since I have been hearing so much about it on the news. I don’t want to end up having that kind of problem, so I am trying to find out which are the most affordable identity theft protection services that do a good job.  Is TrustedID pretty affordable? I have heard good things about them.  I would love to find a TrustedID Review that I could check out to find out whether or not people think that their service is worth what they charge.  Actually, I need to find out what they charge as well.

What is the best way to plan my estate?

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

I need help figuring out the best way to plan my estate, so I am going to hire a lawyer I found on the internet that specializes in this kind of thing. His website is www.dvanarelli.com and his name is Donald Vanarelli. I am hoping that he can help me figure out ways to leave my money to my heirs so that they will be taken care of and not have to deal with probate and inheritance taxes if it can be avoided. They are not the brightest kids, and so I am thinking of leaving it in a trust so they can’t spend it all at once.

There are a number of people who ask this question– “the advantage and disadvantage of distance learning”. Well there are numbers of advantages that distance learning can offer and one of these is that it can provide opportunity for anybody to enhance his educational achievement even when he is at home. This is due to the fact, distance learning can be accessed anytime anywhere in the world– as long as you have an Internet connection. So better opportunity for everyone most especially for those who cannot afford to enroll in a conventional classroom setting.

Talking about disadvantage, I think one is, there is no actual interaction between mentors and students. However, teleconferencing, chatting, video conferencing are also viable tools to develop communication skills.

Learning hypnotherapy

Sunday, September 14th, 2008

If you are interested in becoming a hypnotherapist, then you should be aware of all the different hypnotherapy training courses being offered by many schools out there. There is probably a school in your city. It is important to be aware of the pitfalls of going local. If you live in a small city, the training might not be up to par. It might be worth going to the nearest big city and getting your training from a reputable instructor. Do your research and get on the phone if you have to. Tell them about what your needs are and see if they can offer anything that will interest you.

A Guide to Student Loans and Grants

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

College and other schooling beyond that offered by public school  systems can be quite expensive. In many cases, parents and  students will need some form of assistance to help them make  ends meet and pay tuition and other costs… preferably without  creating more bills that need to be paid while attempting to  finish school. Some students will receive scholarships that will  cover all or part of their cost, but the students that don’t  receive these scholarships still deserve a chance to go to the  school of their choice. Luckily, a variety of different student loans and grants exist  that are designed specifically to pay for schooling and the  costs associated with it.  Alberta Student Loan The Difference Between Loans and Grants     Of…

What’s your favorite way to study the bible?

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

When I started learning how to read the bible, by learning to read it I mean understanding what I’m reading, I went around to different churches and people I know to ask what they did. I was surprised to discover that many people aren’t doing this, and the excuse is usually because they went to church and that was the easiest way to study it! I have to hand it to them that this is true, however I believe you need your own perspective on the information so it’s important to study it yourself as well. I’m starting to learn the Book-by-Book Bible Study methods so i can systematically learn how each book differs from the rest, as well as how they all relate to one another. It’s really interesting how the bible is more holographic than people realize (all parts contain the whole of the information).

Reverse Lookup Directory

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

You can find the public directory of names, phone numbers, and information on the internet, and you can easily perform a reverse lookup using a person or company’s ten digit telephone number in order to access the name and other information. You will only be granted basic information about the company, when using a public directory, although detectives and cops have access to a more private directory that may provide more information than a basic reverse look up search. In general, though, you should not have any problems using a person or company’s ten digit phone number to access the basic information.

Back to School

Monday, September 1st, 2008

When I was a recruiter, or head hunter some liked to call it, I remember that a big commodity was to find someone who held a Series 7 license. Now that I am back in the job market myself I am wondering what it would entail for me to take the series 7 exam? I would love to get into the investment side of business and especially helping other people out with their investments. If I wanted to do that with a local broker would that require the series 7 license or would it require a lessor, perhaps more generalized license?
