More Muscle Helps To Burn Fat

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

You may well be aware that exercise increases your resting metabolic rate, and after you finish your exercise routine, your RMR stays at an elevated rate for several hours. If you participate in strength training, you can get even more of a metabolic boost because the muscle you’re developing is calorie burning and therefore metabolically active tissue.  Even better is that having more muscle tissue cranks your metabolic rate even further.  Exercise helps to preserve muscle.  If, for example, you lose 10 pounds of body weight, you may well be lighter, but if five of these lost pounds are muscle, you won’t be stronger and you can rest assured that your performance will suffer.

Strange Seas

Monday, May 25th, 2009

I read stories of people going missing from their boats in the Bermuda Triangle and I find that to very strange. Even planes have been know to disappear because of unknown reasons. Regardless of how people go missing if you are close to that area you should be extremely careful even if you are an experiences sailor. There have been countless reports of people losing their sense of direction once they entered that area. My friend was like we should take a trip through it and see if we can make it all the way through, I told him to go by himself and will see him in the next lifetime.

Fly-fishing, A Fun Sport

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Fly-fishing is an ancient angling method especially effective in catching trout and salmon. This distinct method of angling uses artificial flies to lure or excite fish. Fly-fishing helps anglers catch the fish easier than the traditional way. When it comes to ultra light fishing, it seems to me that there are a few tips that everyone needs to keep in mind in order to have a fun day on the water. fishing tips  First of all, lets discuss what ultra light fishing is, before we get to the actual ultra light fishing tips. Ultra light fishing is simply using light line and ultra light action rods and reels to catch fish, rather than the size fishing equipment that most anglers are accustomed to using. Ultra light fishing. Once you get the hang of it, is the most enjoyable way to catch fish, in my humble opinion.

Where to go for help

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Ever since I had to reduce my cost of living expenses due to being laid off from my job, I found myself with a little side industry that has helped me get through these tough times.  When I got laid off, I submitted my resume to a bunch of places, but nobody’s hiring these days.

Once my unemployment checks ran out and the job openings were still slim and scarce, I had more time to focus on my home brewing activities, and I was able to get some good advice on making this into a business when I visited a home brew forum where people were willing to help me.

The Importance Of Workout Intensity

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Workout intensity and the time taken between sets have an important relationship.  Power is the rate at which work is carried out.  The faster the work is carried out, the more power is generated.  In respect of working out, it will be more intense when it is completed in less time.  This of course will be determined by the time taken between sets.  When your rest period is minimal then you will complete the workout in less time, and it will be more intense.  Where fat loss is a priority in your workout, then shortening your rest periods between sets is a useful way to burn off more calories.  An interval of sixty seconds or less will supply sufficient time to change the weight on the bar or relocate to the next exercise station.

Using the Nascar Schedule to Plan a Vacation

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

My husband has always enjoyed watching Nascar races on TV.  He keeps the Nascar Schedule posted on the refrigerator and tries to be home whenever the races are on TV.  He will be celebrating his fortieth birthday in a few months and I want to surprise him with tickets to a Nascar race.  I want to buy tickets for the race and arrange the travel plans.  The race that is closest to his birthday will be at the Phoenix International Raceway in April.  This may end up being a really great trip.  April is a good time to be in Phoenix.  We may even get to play some golf.

One of the reasons why Elliptical Trainer Machines are so popular, is because working out is free on any joint or knee pains. This is very important for those that have difficulties practicing on a treadmill and are still looking for a perfect cardio workout. Elliptical machines are a lot more interesting for many who exercise every day, and they are perfect exercise for your legs and thighs, with the minimum pressure and maximum workout. Elliptical workouts are the perfect cardio exercise that helps you to lose fat and burn calories a lot faster and easier. Elliptical machines are perfect for those who want to avoid any injury and speed up their heart rate in order to burn calories.

Lots of people are known with the car insurance, basically what will affect insurance premium of car. But, lots of people forget that following sport bike insurance will involve same basic regulations in few ways! Thus before buying your sports bike & looking for the cheap sports insurance, here are some tips: More expensive your sports bike will draw higher premium, not just because they cost little more to replace, but because they are of the higher power & considered dangerous. From this, we will safely say that higher ‘cc’ output of your sport bike, more it may cost to insure just because it is seen as posing greater risk of accident and extreme sports insurance may be needed

Luxury cars

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Lexus has shown to be very reliable in owners’ surveys by JD Power, Consumer Reports, and others. BMW and Mercedes have not. Of course, buying a certified used car from a new-car dealer protects you in the short-term because the car has been inspected and comes with some warranty. However, in the long-term, expect to pay for expensive maintenance and repairs. And insurance costs are higher for luxury cars. Except for possibly the Lexus, the large amount of extra money you pay for a luxury car doesn’t get you a corresponding increase in reliablity, performance, or luxury features. It’s primarily image that you pay extra for.

Member of an online golf forum

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

I am officially a member….of an online golf forum.  It has everything that I am looking for.  Case studies of products and techniques that worked for other members.  Opportunities for step by step instructions at my pace.  Catalogs for equipment.  Training aids for my swing.  The latest information on technology and techniques.  I was sold from the beginning.  I have told all my friends about this site.  Most agree it is the best they have ever seen, and are joining too.  My golf game will be at its best.  I am ready to hit the course as we speak, and start using my new found advice.

Re; supplements, start by working out a decent diet that will ensure you will receive adequate amounts of protein and calories each day, use your whey to bump of the protein of meals that are lagging. unfortunately it is near impossible to gain muscle without a bit of fat. generally unless you are genetically gifted, on gear or a complete beginner your muscles will not grow unless you have a sustained calorie surplus. As a result most people will “bulk” (eat a lot, add muscle and a little fat) and the “cut” by reducing calories and changing their training to burn the fat off whilst retaining as much muscle as possible.Supplements wise just stick to a decent creatine product and your instant whey, perhaps try a test booster to see how you respond. there is little else you need unless you start tweaking your pre and post workout nutrition with dextrose, bcaa’s, glutamine, etc. You could also try maximuscle cyclone as an all in one supplement as it will help you get everything you need with the minimum of fuss!
