Golf Can’t Be That Hard Can It?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I have been wondering about how to improve my golf swing. I decided that it would be best to talk to the people that I play with as they tend to have similar problems to me but have been playing for longer. One of them told me about something he has been looking into lately. This is something called biomechanics of golf swing. He explained that it is all about making sure that you make the correct movements when you swing. It sounds really simple doesn’t it! He is currently trying out some exercises that he found out about on the Internet and is hoping that he can use these to improve his technique. I am going to let him do the hard work and see whether I notice an improvement in his game before I decide whether to have a go! You may think of it as lazy but I think of it as an efficient use of my time!

Horse care and the many factors involved

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

Providing your horse with a safe and healthy place to live and plenty of nutritional food and water is just the beginning of taking care of your horse; you also need to deal with matters such as horse transportation.  Depending on whether you are showing your horse, transporting your horse, or are riding your horse, you will need to make decisions regarding leg wraps, boots, and shoes. Leg wraps and boots for horses function in the same way that braces and supports function for human athletes.  There is a dizzying array of leg wraps and boots for horses and all of them come in a huge selection of materials, styles, and colors.

I have been attempting to find a whey protein product that is as good or better than Instant Whey from reflex nutrition. I have been unable to find anything that tastes better, mixes as well and has the high amount of protein in it as stated on the label. I have done some research online and found out that protein powders claim to have a certain amount of protein i nthe but when tested they always end up low. the manufacturers say it was a faulty batch knowing full well that nobody will go to the expense of testing batch after batch of the stuff. In reality the reflex stuff is the only consistent formula.

Swimming Pool Rafts: Maintenance

Sunday, September 14th, 2008

Take time to make sure you go over your swimming pool raft maintenance. Even the sturdiest of swimming pool rafts are susceptible to punctures and tears over time. But, with a little care you can ensure a long life to your inflatable pool toys. Handy things to remember are keeping patch kits handy when you notice air loss. The best way to detect a hole in your swimming pool rafts is to rub a little dish soap over surface, when you see bubbles you have found your leak. Apply the patch kit and you are ready for more pool time fun! Remember your maintenance and enjoy your swimming pool rafts for seasons to come.

5 More Hints, Tips For Dam Fishing Tackle and Fishing Tackle

The following article contains 5 hints and tips about fishing tackle and dam fishing tackle

Let’s face it, reading 5 tips isn’t going to change your life, but at least it will give you an idea about what you can find out!

It’s always fun trying to find accurate information about Fishing Tackle, and what we discovered was no exception!

Tip #1

Fish finder reviews on the internet are usually the best way to determine which fish finder is the most appropriate for your needs.  Each manufacturer offers its own fish finders from which you can choose.

Tip #2

Having a fishing boat setup ready to go is the ultimate for any enthusiast.

Tip #3

Finally, observe yourself. You don’t have to take notes like a hook worm. But keep track in your mind what kind of lure you’re using at all times, what kind of natural conditions you’re working with, and what kind of fish you’re catching, or not catching. You will start to see the tendencies of your prey, along with your own tendencies. Fishing, you see, is much more than just about waiting and drinking beer. You also need practice, a sharp mind for it, and the right fishing supplies.

Tip #4

Some of the best online boat stores will be very descriptive on the items they are selling and also include pictures in their online catalogs. Some will also send you regular pictorial newsletters and catalogs with current specials on wholesale fly fishing products.  This can be important, especially if you are unfamiliar with a particular boating product and how it works, and therefore, would otherwise not consider buying it. They can help educate their customers and make them aware of all aspects of boating products and what is available to them.

Tip #5

You may be able to pick up a rod on the cheap and save a few bucks, but imagine the feeling when that rod falls apart at the wrong moment. Say, you are finally on that holidays with your buddies, pull out on one of those beautiful one thousand lakes, when you’re rod snaps apart in your hands. That’s not a pretty picture to say the least.

Well…that’s enough tips for now. I’m sure 5 is enough to be getting along with!

I hope that you found these Fishing Tackle and Dam Fishing Tackle resources useful, they certainly helped me!

US Kids Junior Irons

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

You can find new children s golf clubs on eBay with ease. As you can imagine so many people buy clubs thinking their children will take up the game with passion, to find they have no real interest. Typically you can even start - and I recommend it - with two irons and a putter. That’s enough to give your children a taste of the game. See if they have what it takes. One thing to be aware of is the need for left handed junior clubs. I don’t believe in getting your youngster to change over to right handed. Rather if they seem to swing best in a left handed fashion then go out and find left handed clubs. The club head weight is the mot important thing for children clubs. The added weight and off-set designs will help in your kids development. After all you are striving for a smooth consistent stroke. For example the club heads should be at least 12% lighter than adult irons Make sure the grip is the correct size and ideally get a shaft flex and loft for juniors or beginners.

Jumping Exercises to Improve Running

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

I have seen a lot of people at the gym doing jumping exercises with jump ropes. I have a good friend who is a physical trainer, and she also recommends jumping rope to improve my running abilities. With all of these people doing and recommending them, these exercises must be beneficial, but I do not understand how they help you run since they don’t work the muscles that you use for running. I am a distance runner, so maybe that makes a difference. It seems like sprinters need more bounce when they take off out of the starting blocks. I suppose either way, they can’t hurt.

While many people in the United States are not familiar with Australian stock saddles for horses, they are gaining in popularity here. Differences between English saddles and Australian riding saddles are actually very little. In the end, the most important thing to both rider and horse should be fit.

A horse knows little about design and purpose of the saddle but does understand if a saddle does not fit well and causes pain.

Australian saddles actually combine some of the finer parts of both Western and English saddles in that it has a forward seat without leaning forward and offers stability of placement that both rider and horse can enjoy.
