Gulfstream RV

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

In the fifth wheel category the, Prairie Schooner is always a favorite because of its size, floor plans and luxurious interiors. “It’s a very high-end fifth wheel product with triple axles and vacuum bond laminated sidewall construction,” said the Gulfstream RV rep. Average retail price is $50,000 to $60,000. Also, the Mako and Canyon Trail are popular fifth wheels on a mid-profile level. They are a little less expensive but the major features are still there such as excellent towability. Average retail is $25,000 to $35,000. Gulfstream, in addition to other RV manufacturers, has also been hit by the recent economic downturn.

More to Ajijic Then Meets the Eye

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

When we were first exposed to Ajijic, we were surprised at how beautiful it was.  There is a huge lake, and we spent a great deal o the time that we were there fishing for the various kinds of local catch that was available.  We were able to stay longer than I thought, because we used some Vacation Rentals in Ajijic.  These rentals are just super nice, and we were completely satisfied with having it instead of a hotel.  We were able to cook our own food, and we had the best time doing it.  I can not wait to come again next year.

Bonuses in Overland Park KS

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

If you work in Overland Park KS, you probably expect to receive a bonus just like everyone else. Although most employees deserve to get bonuses for their work and efforts, many companies may not be able to afford to pay bonuses to employees when the economy is in a bad shape and their businesses are not doing well either.

Overland Park is not as bad as many other cities that most employees are getting hours cut as well as pay cut. Some of them are laid off with no offers for alternative jobs.

The worse the business is doing, the less chance the employee has to get a bonus or even keep his or her job.

Jamaican Fun

Monday, November 24th, 2008

We travelled to Ocho Rios, Jamaica as part of the Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The land excursion was a Kayak Safari to the Dunn’s River falls. The Kayak safari was fun and the duration just nice: not too long, and not too short. We rowed in kayaks to Dunn’s River falls, and after that we climbed up the famous Dunn’s River falls. The scenery is awesome. After the climb, there was a waterbus that took us back to town near ship and there was still time to visit some local shops for a bit of shopping.

Our Family Trip to Ohio

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

It was around this time last year that our family started to plan our vacation for the following summer. We knew that we needed to get a head start on our plans because we tend to have problems making firm decisions. So, we took out the atlas and worked on our plan. For once, we easily decided on Ohio. While we included many of the major tourist attractions and cities on our trip, we also added a side trip to Holmes County. There, in Amish country, we truly experienced a different kind of life. And, we found it extremely interesting. The entire family paid attention to everything going on. To make it even better, we had a great cottage to stay in and enjoyed some wonderful food and even an Amish buggy ride.

The Different Activities

Friday, November 21st, 2008

When you are deciding on different activities to take part in while on your vacation, there are things to take into consideration. If you are going to a foreign country, do you want to spend all of your time shopping? Yes, there may be great places to shop in places like Sharm Egypt, but there are so many cultural monuments that you should also take into consideration. You need to decide if you are in that foreign country to experience their culture, or if you are there to go shopping. Of course, you will want some authentic souvenirs, but you should really limit it to that.

Looking For A Flight To New York?

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

When it comes to finding cheap flights to New York, the internet is the best place to look. Many websites offer excellent rates, especially on last minute flights. People say to get the best price you need to book early, but that’s not always the case with a big city like New York. Check around, and you are sure to find more flights available than you could’ve ever imagined. It’s an even better price if you need to leave very early or very late. Be open to connections, and you’ll get a flight to New York at a great price!

It’s Not Smart To Sell Your Timeshare

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

“Why don’t you Sell your timeshare?”  Someone tried to convince a friend.  That has been going on for a couple of weeks now.  You see, my friend owns this great place in the mountains that provide the best view of the entire state, so to speak.  He is single and most of his friends, including me, frequent the place when we want to get away from the city and everyone wants to buy my friend’s timeshare for the place.  I thought he would until we talked one day during one of our gatherings there.  “Why would I?  It would be idiotic to sell your timeshare,” he said.

Going to Africa is a great experience to have. You will never forget your trip to Africa and you will never stop talking about it. It will become your story and in a place like Durban, the busiest port of Africa you are sure to find the convienences that you crave. You do not have to go savage to go to a wild place. You can even find cheap Durban hotels so that you do not have to spend all your cash on a place to sleep at night. Instead you will have some fun trying all the different atractions including some really cool surfing.

Hiring a car to cross international borders

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

This will be a first trip to anywhere in Africa and we are very excited about going there.  One of our considerations is to do the Car Hire when we arrive and then keep it until we leave.  We may want to visit another country at least once as we understand some of the better wild animal photo safaris are located out of South Africa.  Will there be a problem if we cross international borders on our trip as long as we return to South Africa for the return.  If this is a problem can you advise an alternate plan for our travel arrangements?

Our goal for our vacation was to find a place where we could enjoy complete privacy with just the two of us and yet be able to have access to restaurants and the very best of spas so we could really pamper ourselves.   The Bali villas in Seminyak seemed to be just what we were looking for.  We chose the luxurious Villa Shinta Dewi because it is located fairly close to the beach and we like the sound of the waves on the sand.  The fitness room came in very handy to work off all the food that we managed to consume in the nearby restaurants.

Hitch in High Winds

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

We live in a very open area because we of course needed a lot of room for all of the animals to roam around and where we could have a large area to train in. Unfortunately, with this open and large area there are times we get a large amount of wind and it is hard to keep things in place. With that being said we needed the ultimate sway control hitch for our trailers because when we drive in and out of our property the winds can reach really high levels and we need protection on our trailers to protect all involved in the ride.
