Sleep is necessary to maintain good health. It makes us feel rested and fresh. It helps provide the energy needed for daily living. Unfortunately, there are some people who have difficulty sleeping. In such cases, the root causes of the problem have to be addressed. These would include stress, fatigue, some medical conditions and the physical environment. Without enough sleep, an individual will find it hard to perform daily tasks. There would be a lack of focus and energy. Dizziness, hypertension, head ache, and blurred vision are just some of its adverse effects. The immune system is also weakened. The aesthetic appeal of a person is also affected by the lack of sleep as manifested in dark circles around the eyes and puffy eye bags.
