In today’s society there are many children who are quite gifted and intelligent who are unable to avail themselves of some of the special programs directed at individuals at this level. However, the philosophy of education for many educators is that these individuals should and could be brought into the proper level suited to them. It is good to report that in the United States this is now possible where schools now have classes for the gifted so that they can move along more quickly and not be hindered by times set for the average child. The philosophy of education is to help each child take advantage of all avenues open to them.
