Goal setting. Well that’s one thing I don’t have a problem with. I love setting goals. Trouble is, I don’t always get to achieve them, then I get frustrated. Maybe I set too many goals, or I don’t break things down enough. Or maybe I have too many things running at once. But it can be disheartening when you never seem to get to the end point, or you finish one thing, only to look at this mountain of other things to do.
I guess if your goal is body oriented, like losing weight or getting fit, that’s moderately achievable. Of course, there are plenty of difficulties there too, if you’re not careful. Lots of people talk about a weight loss plateau, which would be really annoying. Imagine ding all the right things and never seeming to get to your weight loss goal. Hey - maybe you can get those plateaus in other areas of goal setting too, where it seems you’ll not reach the end of the road, or you keep fining obstacles in the way, or things just aren’t moving fast enough.
Oh well - back to life’s treadmill!
