After you have decided on what possible keyword phrases you want to use, the next thing you will need to do is find out the number of hits it attracts on average every month. But you should not make a final decision until you have done a Google search to see what the volume of your competition is. It is pointless going ahead with a keyword phrase beekeeping that has over 10 million sites competing for it. That means sites that have been indexed for the keyword by Google. Essentially what you should be looking for are keyword phrases that are fairly popular but have under a million sites indexed for it.
