If you want to build trust in your relationship then you need to be absolutely open with your partner rights from start.  It is these little acts of honesty that help to show your partner that you can be trusted in the bigger acts.  By admitting that you forgot to go shopping because you’re watching the game, or by telling her that you really don’t like that hat, then she learns that you are not afraid of the truth and trust starts to build.  Of course trust is a fine line and you must always work hard to make sure you never do anything to break that trust, just a small act which breaks that trust can ruin all of your previous hard work.
