I just recently went to the science fair for my daughter’s school, and I couldn’t believe some of the cool science fair projects. We never did anything that complicated or that interesting when I was a kid. They have really raised the bar now. Kids are being asked to do science fair projects at younger ages (elementary school instead of middle school) and then they are doing more complicated projects. And in most of these projects, it is clear that the kid really did do the project, and not the parent as you might expect to happen when projects get more involved.
