As the eco-movement expands and organic finds its way into every part of the market, there will be a natural evolution to more of a recycled or cradle to cradle methodology for making materials. I stumbled upon a company the other day while searching for organic baby clothes called Tiny Revolutionary and I can see this evolution at work in their new Eco-Tee which is made from an earth friendly mixture of organic cotton, recycled consumer plastic and rayon which is mined from the cell walls of plants - don’t ask how that happens but it sounds cool! Because the clothes aren’t all a singular grown material, they offer a peak into innovative uses for waste materials.
