When people think of weddings they always think of a pile of gifts on the table wrapped in the kind of paper and ribbon that is not used at any other time.  For a couple who are beginning their life together the most important thing they can do together as they take their first steps in marriage is to make sure they write a sincere wedding thank you for every gift they received, no matter what it is.  Even if they receive multiple gifts that are identical, thoughts of gratitude should be expressed that convey real appreciation for their thoughtfulness and grace.
