I was an American living in Europe and had no clue about where to get what I needed. That was especially true of services, such as cell phone services.
When I lived in the U.S. I took my cell phone service for granted. Providers were on every corner. Once I moved to a home in England, I realized I had no idea where providers were, or even who they were.
A co-worker suggested I go online to a website which compared mobile Internet providers in the U.K. Once I found the site I was impressed with how much information I was able to get, and I soon settled on a dongle broadband plan.
Signing up for the service was easy and the British customer service representative was happy to translate prices for me as well as explain the services and help me get started.
