I work at home and a fast computer is important to me.  Generally I am pretty careful about what I download from the Internet, but about a month ago I clicked through for a new antivirus ad.  I had been reviewing security software and  thought the product in the ad might be interesting.  It turned out to be a scam and, worse, the ad would not go away. Pretty soon I realized that the unwelcome pop up was slowing me down so I did an online search to find out how I could remove alpha antivirus.  It took a malware remover and some time but I finally cleaned up my laptop.  I intend to be  much more careful about what I click on.
