Barcelona’s Las Ramblas or La Rambla is a beutiful tree-lined streets.
La Rambla at the very heart of Barcelona is about 1.25 miles long. It is lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, souvenir stores and flower shops.
Along the Rambla there are street artists doing portraits and others doing magic or break dancing. There is a water fountain with a plaque with the following message:
‘Once you drink from the fountain you are destined to return to Barcelona.’
I believe, La Rambla has its own special charm in part due to the street performers whom you can watch at most times. Just do drop them a few coins.
